Just noticed there is a GAW sub-forum now so mods, If you'd like to move this there then feel free.
Moving on to the GAW....
This is the first of two that I will be doing in the next 24 hours.
This giveaway is for an AG Russell Neck knife that I believe is called the hunter's scalpel. I received this a LONG time ago as a free gift with a purchase from another forum member.
RULES: So there are two options with this Giveaway for winning.
All you have to do is say "I'm in with #(insert numbers 1 or 2 here)". This is open to all member who have been here more than a month.
By stating you are in and choosing a number you are agreeing to follow through with that option. While this isn't something I can really "enforce" so to speak, this giveaway is here to promote a good atmosphere, community and generosity. The most I can do is refuse you entry into future GAW's but I do feel that would be a complete disservice to the community and fellow members.
Option #1: Your entry here is for a friend or family member (even another forum member), upon winning you gift it to someone you think could make good use of it. Once gifted just take a pic with the person you gave it to holding it. And posy it in here.
Option #2: Your entry here is for yourself and you get to keep the prize. In turn of your winning luck, you will host a giveaway with your own item (or if you really want you can use this Knife again) in the next 30 days. You can make your own theme and rules to your giveaway but it must be open to all members (being here more than a month is an acceptable restriction). I'm not asking you give away anything expensive either, any little handy peice of gear that you don't use anymore or you bought and never used.
Other than that...Have at it!
UPDATE: (In case the post is missed here's the news)
Quick update: got home middle of last week from my honeymoon with my wife. Now that we are all settled in again this will be finishing up at 6am this Wednesday. The winner will be selected, announced and sent a message for shipping details later that day. So thanks everyone, glad to see that some people liked this.
