Here's a HUGE beautiful monster of a blade I thought some of you would like to see ---- won "Best Hand Forged Blade" at the OKCA show this year. Ray named it "the prophet," which is absolutely fitting.


12.5" 5160 blade, Sambar stag handle... Livelier than you can imagine!

Ray's an absolute master as far as I'm concerned and I'm VERY grateful to have gotten my hands on this one. Thanks for looking --- really just wanted to give props to Ray for being a great maker and a gentleman too.

I am with Roger. Nice work on that monster! I especially like the stag and the flow along the top of the handle along the spine to the tip of the blade.
