I remember reading recently about a member's (but don't remember whose, sorry) John Lloyd blade that was magnetic. While getting another knife out of my box earlier today it happened to get pushed down next to the spine of the chestnut bone peanut's clip blade, and it magnetically adhered.
I had never noticed this before about the peanut, and checked it with a couple other knives. Each of them magnetically adhered to the peanut.
Curious, I checked my other knives. Not one of them (not even the appaloosa peanut shown below) exhibited the same magnetic characteristic.
No wonder I am drawn to this little fellow. It is attracting the trace amount of metals in my body!
Edited to say, I have no idea how the nylon prefix got attached to this message. Between the BF issues and my wireless service being spotty lately, it takes me several attempts to make a post now. Sorry about the confusion.
