Ever since I saw the 2016 Queen City Cattle Kings in their 2016 catalog, I've been keeping my eye out for one. I really liked the jigged bone they have been using on the Queen City Knives. Has anyone got one? I have yet to see one in the wild or online. Did they end up not making them?

If you have any Queen Cattle King, how do you like it? Share pictures/thoughts.

Woodrow-are you talking about the 4 1/4" cattleman stockman? It would be the #49 from Queen in D2(as opposed to Queen City)? I've probably overposted that I have a horseman's model, in BEM. Would've from when Bill Howard(s?) was still at Queen, and the quality was a little better. I love mine, even though it only has the giant clip blade. I carry it daily, never take it out of rotation. The punch is probably my favorite of all that I've used, this years forum knife is a close second but a completely different kind of punch. It works so well I've drilled through antler with it. The hoofpick makes a great back scratcher, but I have thoughts about making it a spoon carving blade, as I doubt I'll ever own a horse. I also had Tom Krein do a regrind of the blade, and it cuts incredibly now. Literally push-cuts all the way thru these ancient things called phone books-you've prolly seen em.;) I guess in other words : I have one that's close, and I freakin' love it. Hope that helps.
Thanks, Neal
PS-I'd post pics, but I'm still a numknutz when it comes to that. Although I did text a few to Frank(Knarfeng)

That's the knife! I've been interested in the QC version as it's 1095 steel..... and I really liked the jigging. I may have to get a D2 version.

I have the regular #49 in D2 & like it, but for a stockman, I really prefer the medium size.
Here it is. Walnut covers, on a walnut stump in my backyard, surrounded by walnut shells left by the tree rats.

Gus, I think I remember seeing a 1095 queen #49 recently but darned if I remember where. I almost ordered it. Lemme look around.

Queen City might use a different number for it. Not sure, but I've noticed it before with some models.
Thanks , Neal

I've had a couple of the D2 Queens in curly zebrawood, but sold one (idiot!) and gave the other to a friend. It's my favorite big stockman, mainly cause of the D2. I'd love to find an older one in the natural stag bone or cocobolo.

This one has the jigging that I was looking for:

I see Neil pointed you right way. I knew I saw some!

Your pic is not working, Woodrow.

Only ones I have seen are the sawcut with black which doesn't really tickle my fancy even though the huge stockman does. And I already have too many I'm thinking about reslabbing.

Nice covers and shield on that one, Woodrow. If it came in the D2 or even 440C . . . I'd be down for one.

Yeah they are. I can't even find old posting of jigged bone. Found small stag ones too.

I like everything else about the black and white except for the fact that it looks like someone sharpened a [emoji210] penguin.

I messaged Ryan Daniels/Queen on Fb a while ago and he told me that they had trouble getting the bone in that jigging, so it was delayed. But that was a few months ago.
