The Queen Vs The Dean

I don't get the context, but knives are beautiful and that 77 is coolest knife from GEC by my taste. Only 7711 with a sepia bone could beat it, and it doesn't exist so far, only 7722 with that cover if I recall correctly.

Thanks, Alex. The context is safe queens vs users. The pristine vs rough edges. Thanks.
Got it! Well, I prefer them to be like new as long as possible and never force a patina or anything, but if there is a need then I use them, and if they need to be sharpened I sharpen them, which of course gives my knives a character (slowly) and I am okay with that. Life gives all of us a character.

Yep. I'm with you. I like both. An awesome blade in use and beat to hell, and one just like it preserved. I'm on both sides.

Both! I use all my knives, and if I can't bring myself to (only one so far) I sell them to one of ya'll, so you can keep it purdy and maybe show me pictures now and then. So while I myself do not enjoy owning safe queens, I love looking at other people's. Best of both worlds, cost of only one! ;)

I have a lot that I keep like new that I will carry in the left pocket with a user in the right pocket
1 that I use and 2 that I have never used .
