So one of the guys on my crew went to Wagga Wagga NSW (place of many crows -if only a few crows it would be just one Wagga) to a swap meet. (rhymes with logger).
I pleaded and begged him to take me along for the ride but his Oldsmobile ratrod was full. At the end of the shift my parting words to him were look out for any old knives.
He sent me this pic on the weekend

Myeehhrr-looks interesting can't tell what it is see if you can get the price down-was my response knowing full well his wheeler dealer nature would be in high gear at the meet.
So We started shift this morning and he handed me the knife -30bux couldn't get him down any lower.
Not to worry lets see what we got-

Anyhow I got it home and gave a few licks on the diamond stones from butterknife blunt to razor sharp in short order.

He couldn't resist mentioning to me that there another guy there selling old knives who had a 20ft table covered in knives and bayonets but they weren't all cheap.

The quest continues:)

Well, it´s a Solingen made knife by Linder a traditional cutlery in Solingen. Here´s a link with some history about the company http://www.linder.de/en/aboutus

I can´t tell you much about its age, but the handle looks like nice antler to me. I think you made quiete a deal, my friend :)

Thanks guys .
Thanks for the link Andi.
It appears in the first pic to have a wonky tip -maybe damaged but in reality its perfect.:)

Love the etch on that one!
