Just thought I would chime in about the new book that Pete Hamilton, retired shop foreman of RMK, just released.
This book IMO is a must for all of you who are interested in collecting RMKs.
It goes into great detail on exactly how the knives are made at the shop. This will put to rest the rumors about RMKs not being forged or not being hand made.
The book also is a wealth of info on how to date the knives using various methods inculding detailed pictures of the many different spacer configureations used over the years.
Pictures are outstanding.
The book sells for $83.00 including S&I and can be ordered from Tom Clinton, Sharp Stuff Inc,
