Hello all, I finished reading, browsing, drooling through this interesting book called `The Randall Saga' by Dominique Beaucant, this book was donated to the Blade Forums Traveling Library by our very own Bruce Evans, thank you Bruce!, and it's been to a couple of formites homes so far.

Here's the deal, the first person to post on this thread requesting to receive the book, I'll send the book out next week. BUT, there's always a but isn't there?, Once you've gotten the book, you have a months time or less to go through it and then do as I have done, post a thread to move it along to the next person that would like to read and learn a bit about the Randall Saga.

Secondly, when you get the book, please write inside the cover your name and bladeforums name, date and Country where you are from, as a living legacy of sorts so others will know where the book has been...

So batter's up, lets go!

Ok, this book will be heading to Kodiak Alaska on Monday, around February look for a post by Kodiak PA to move the book along the dusty trail.
Thanks again to Bruce Evans for the donation of the book and to Gus Kalanzis, as I feel that Gus was instrumental in the whole Blade Forums Library Foundation! Good one Gus!

G2 out!

One thing to note....the author handed his UNFINISHED NOTES to the editor and that was the last time he saw them....they printed his notes....He was a bit perturbed...as you can imagine, and that explains a lot of the unintelligible sentences and disjointed thoughts (I have the book) The book by the owner of Nordic Knives is a much better history and pictoral of the Randall Saga. :)

I have the signed Randall book by Beaucant. I have the signed Randall book by Gaddis. IMO, the book by the original owner of Nordic Knives is superior.

Thanks guys for the advice on another book about Randalls for me to read. The Beaucant book was very hard to follow at times. I have heard that the second edition is far superior. Has anyone read both and if so what is your opinion?
