The RC 4 finally arrived!!!
As I talked about in my first post, The minute I saw my first RAT knife, I knew they were different. They looked practical and made to work. I cant say my first outing did it justice, but as I walked out in the brush, many an image came to me of defending myself from maurading feral hogs with tusks as sharp razors, and hunting a deer with nothing but the knife between my teeth. While none of those things happened, I did get to use the blade to saw through a 1/4 inch mesquite branch and after shaping the branch, use it to cook up some grub. Ok, I admit not near as cool as hog chasing but way practical. I have included a pic of the knife, and a pic of my pack...not really a RAT pack but a pack nonetheless!
