The real thing and the imposter.

I thought I'd post pictures of this 103 imposter again. This time, I have the real thing to post along side for comparison. The imposter wasn't sold as a 103 nor is it marked as a 103 so I don't think you could call it a counterfeit. More like a clone.

Wow Dave,they look almost like twins.Is there no makers mark or country of origin?
 
There's nothing on the other side of the blade at all. There's nothing I can see that gives a hint as far as maker or country, but I have my suspicions.;)
 
Wow they are close. Wonder what the specifics in difference are? I actually like the handle of the rip off a little better both in appearance of wood grain and thickness. Sorry:o
 
I like the imposter handle better as well,looking at the real thing ,the guard and handle don't look like they match up to the blade the way it should look,looks a little off to me,like some of the newer 124 models,don't know if anyone knows what i mean .lol
