Not a review but just my first impression of the Rebel. I will update this thread with my thoughts on the Rebel once I have used it for a few weeks.
I purchased this particular one from DLT Trading ( One of my preferred dealers to buy Fiddlebacks & other blades ).
When this model was initially introduced by Andy it did not appeal to me but I have been intrigued and wanted to try it out. When introduced, this model did not pass the "Poo Test" for me but after receiving this beauty I was floored.
The scales are Lemon Drop Jade with black and Yellow liners and 1/8" A2 steel blade stock with a very nice tapered tang.
Specs :
Blade Length: 3 1/4"
Handle Length: 4"
Overall Length: 7 1/4"
It's small size is perfect for EDC and for me this is an ideal sized knife for back pocket carry.
Here it is compared to a Bushcrafter Jr. & an Esquire
It has a surprisingly comfortable handle and fits very well in my medium sized hand. I will however reserve my thoughts on that until after prolonged use.
Fits very well in one of Bud's ( JouFuu ) HB-2 sized sheath
Updates & Pics to come.....
