It only takes one trip where you drop your knife or leave it in a tree when it gets dark to realize that black and green blends in too much!

But it's not TACTICAL!!!!!!!!!!

He just likes something that matches his superman outfit. The Peruvians called him "Superman" in the bush because of his cap.:) Got to have the cape though Bear.:)

Try a Red handle! I have a Leu custom cord wrapped, BRK&T Woodland SPL and a Busse GW---All with Red handles. The Red lanyards are great!

I don't know if he was wearing a lanyard or not but I didn't see any little red things hanging down .

I seem to leave my machete where I was chopping/splitting wood. It is also a saftey concern to leave your blades out with people walking around camp or other hikers in the area. RED lets everyone know there is a cutting tool there so they don't walk into the blade.

Working on the survival cape!

Good stuff! I attach a strip of pink flaggers tape to the end of a lot of my stuff, I hate misplacing things in the woods. It's almost odd, logically, that most outdoor gear is the color of the outdoors! It is nice to make less of a visual impact though.
