In this thread I said I would post pictures of the new 2007 Buck 110 that I got in replacement for my 2005 model that had a broken tip.

Here are the pictures. It's a such a nice knife. Sometimes I forget how much of a knife you get and how much "bang for your buck" you get with a Buck 110. Amazing.

I would like to thank Joe Houser and all the fine people at Buck for replacing my 110. They went above and beyond what was needed.

As you can see 2007 has the downward pointing arrow. I like it.

very nice, its just a standard 110,but i find some of them look so good with the nice grainy handles, yours is one of those for sure!

Bugwrench, gotta ask, what camera are you using? A macro setting and tripod? Sweet knife and great photos!

Thank you for the compliments on the photos. I am using a Nikon Coolpix 4100. No tripod. Just getting close and turning on the macro setting. I do not have a light box or anything so I usually put down 5 pieces of printer paper right under a lamp that I have. I also turn off the flash.

Ya know......in one of your pics (very good pics, by the way) I can see a reflection of you and the camera and a bald-headed woman behind you.

Seems odd to me.

:D That is funny. I went back and looked at the pictures and I see what you mean. You can see just my hands holding the camera, and in the one picture you are talking about you can see a little doll next to my hands. That would be something my wife had on the desk off to the side of where I was taking pictures. It has hair, it just looks funny in the reflection.

I love those buck knives I have 2 "Dukes and a 530 I think. I loved the 110 but I always thought t was too havy. A friend of mine took a grinder and buffer to his and shaved off a lot of weight. Slimmed it down nicely.

That thing is so pretty I would be scared to carry it for fear of scratching it!

I'll be going up to Dr. Roswell Park's Institute next week for my yearly exam; lots of bald headed women up there...some very nicely bald, too... :D

...Hey Chicken Prince...( get it Prince= prints= tracks= Trax ...:p )...You do know that upon your return we will require some graphic PICS of said ladies...and I happen to know from some pretty good resources, that you recently came into possession of a digital camera of a quality that would compare to a Rolex if it were a timepiece...LMBO...:D :p ...or a Yellowhorse if it were a Buck...( keepin' it knife related...:D )
