HOG-FU at it's very best, that HOG Mind Melt I did on Jerry @ Blade works!
As I sat in my cold 30 foot camper, an electric heater just feet away trying to stay warm.
The water was already frozen and the toilet frozen to the top, I just kept thinking about the NMSFNOLE going up without me.
No phone signal, the internet would not load, I was in a black hole...
So I though I'd try an email to Connie, at 1st it stalled so I held the phone over my head with 2 fingers and it went so I said "What the hell" lets give it a shot.
I know Jerry always waits until the last few minutes to post "GO" so I typed out and order, held it up, started to send and something stopped me...I counted to 7 and something said "Now" and I sent the message.
I told myself there is no way I'll even get in....
The next day at work I was going to call AMY-O just to mess with her, but before I got a chance a "BLOCKED CALL" showed up on my caller ID.
It was Jerry telling me I'd won the number 1 knife.
I told him the story , we laughed.
Tomorrow I'm going to play the lottery ;)

I got back home and looked on the forum, I just had to make sure I won fair and square.
I saw the "GO" post and it said 9:00 and I thought this is not right so I read through the post.
8:53 GO...
I got the IPhone and check my sent messages...8:53:01


What are the chances of that?
A stab in the dark without knowing what is going on and I won!!!

I was after #11 and got stuck with #1 :)

I got 4 knifes but not numbers 11, 22 or 33, so when you HOGS get your numbers I'm looking for these.

11 is at the top

On a sad note for you guys that ordered, Jerry didn't say but I think these sold out in less then 3 minutes, more than half went in the 1st minute to a bunch of greedy HOGS.

Good Luck, I'm off to get that Lottery Ticket now....

Your mind melt almost got me too. At about the same time I had emails prep'd and ready to fire....... but I had no idea why as I didn't even want one of the SFNO's. I quickly came too and got another scotch to figure what the hell was happening. The hogfu is strong with this one. Teach me how you do that so I can have hogs randomly sending me their INFI!

That's amazing! What an incredible story! One for the ages, for sure. As for my own Hog-Fu, I know I got in in minute one or two, but my computer clock is fast and stamped it two minutes later than actual time. Here's to hoping they go by inbox order and not just timestamp!

I say you weren't first; but being an old boar, you knew just how much JWB and Coors Light it would take to buy #1.

Will their email server not give it a timestamp of its own for when it reached the server anyways?
Working with timestamps and dates in programs is what I like the least with my job (computer programming), there are too many factors.
For instance, if I sent an email when the go was posted, it would be timestamped @04:53 am (my computer time) as outgoing datetime.

1whobuys, if I get what I asked for and end up with any of the numbers you want, I would gladly trade. Good luck to all you hogs!
 
Just to be clear, I could have traded #1 for #11 but I decieded to keep the rarest of all LE's for myself.
I have one of my other 3 to trade all are great numbers.

I am just glad I (now) know that I "Should" be well in under the time limit of 3 minutes.

I sent at 9.53 and the CC I sent to myself, I received at 9:53.51.

I would have done better, but I clicked on the "Sticky" (duh) to confirm Jerry Busse the moderator posted. Refresh rates were a little slow.

Anyway.... congrats.
