After a long vacation my 710 has returned to me with a whole new look. It turns out that it saw the plastic surgeon when it was away. Dr Krein does some amazing work :)

I was expecting sharp but this guy is a true laser now. I finally got rid of the recurve as well. It really is a perfect knife now.

Enjoy the pics:)

Very nice!

I have to say that the Benchmade 710 is one knife that's looks has grown on me. I disliked the looks of it originally. As time goes by however I find myself growing more and more fond of it. I fondled one today at our local knife shop and almost bought it but opted for the Griptilian (my first Bench).

Sweet! The slight recurve of the 710 didn't bother me, but after looking at yours I definately like it better. Have fun with that slicer supreme.

I didnt mind the recurve but I just couldnt get it quite as sharp as id like. It bugged me and I also wanted to try a regrind anyways. Glad I did

thanks for the greatpics

I think it was 45$ if I remember correctly (be a little less for you since it had to be sent back to canada:)). It would be 10 dollars less if you didnt want the recurve removed.

Yeah, my 710 was getting pretty beat up and now it looks like new again. But still has a little bit of trace of the coating--which I really like:)

I also sanded the clip up and made it satin. t was looking like crap so It looks great now too. It amazes me how well g1 holds up. I have a few marks in it but have edcd this knife for well over a year and has had countless falls on pavement, etc. A+ for the 710.
