Ok my two cents. The blade of the 18" AK is sleek nice craftmanship<big word not sure if its right<hehe. Anyway it was cutting trees about the size around as a 20oz. bottle give or take. Striking in an angle 45 degrees it would get half to completly through on oak trees. If it did not make it through I figured it as the user is at falt. I cut down total of six trees with the AK and cut them small enough for fire wood in about 30 to 45 min. with little effort. The AK retained it's edge through out.The only drawback is the weight
but is easy to fix by constent use of AK.It has a very sharp tip and sticks very well.In the field it would be an all perpose kukri and for selfdefence I could see it releaving someone of arms or legs and of course their head. The AK splits wood nicely.
Now for th 21"GS . The GS fits nicely in the hand like the AK yet feels lighter
it completed the same task(but did not split wood as easy) as the AK but moved quicker . The GS to me did not look like much because of the thin blade
and as light as it felt . But I like it the GS has the sheering ablity and chopping
ablity without the wieght it sings as it slices through the air.
More to come but just my two cents for now.
