Well, it started out so innocent like all things that run away with you. I bought RC-4 and wife saw it. Commented and said now if that was in pink ..... so I bought her a Pink Izula. All is well but then I found I had to "borrow" it very often so the wife suggest I get my own. Which I guess is fair after all ...who wants to share their toys?

I though all was well ..... seems it wasn't. I bought a RC-3 Mil and when wife saw it, I found it in her handbag. And I have to add ... she is not a knife person. She just loved it ....... so I showed her the orange RC-3's. Wife said I could have the MIL back when her orange RC-3 arrives.

The question ....... Jeff, are you paying her commision as I am sure these sales are influencing the market now :D

Oh, on the RC-5 ...she says it looks like a man knife. Guess Izula and RC-3 could then be classified as girl knives.

dude don't look a gift horse in the mouth, you have a wife willing to share your obsession and sounds like will have a little understanding. Way to go bro

When my wife took my pink izula, I was thrilled! I am hoping she becomes an addict like me, so she will understand why I need "Another knife?!"

I share your dilema. My wife confiscated my pre-production Izula, my Camillus Becker BK7, and now she's going after the knives I'm making. I just finished up a file knife with a "bloody denim" micarta handle. first one I've done with this handle material, and she says while holding it, "wow, you got the handle just right for my hand. Way to go. When you do the sheath, I'd like #8 eyelets and purple cord please.":grumpy: I told her that the next 3 knives are going to be for the Blade show and she can't have them. She said, "did that sound true in your head?"

This isn't a problem, my girlfriend got mad when I bought an RC 5. You should be extremely happy that she enjoys knives :D

:D I now have a little bit of Dr. Pepper on keyboard thanks to that last line.

GUess I should stop whinning and count my blessings. I should have understood that she must be a lady with impeccable taste ...after all, she did marry me ;)

I read the title to this thread and thought it was about GM and Chrysler!

Could be a lot worse bro, my wife somewhat shares my addiction to blades, but has a preference toward Scott Gossman's custom made blades, and Busse.... except my Izula, my Rc-3 and my RC-4.... So far I have purchased over 60 blades and I STILL don't have one of my own... lol

My wife used to say, "I never knew there were SO many knives."

Now she comes home and tells me, "I used my knife to (do something) today!"

That's awesome ~;-)
