Man am I happy, I feel like a dog with a T-bone steak! I got another knife with Pay Pal credit but it took me months to save for this one, it makes a difference when I save to buy something instead of buying it with credit, makes it more special in my mind.

I really love this blade, Ernie is right in that it's destined to become a classic; the grinds on the blade are so freaking cool in my eyes, check it out: I also got a skull clip for it.
First the box, yeah I even like the box, that's weird I know, but I can't help it

Now I need to start saving for a super and a mini; and a super CQC8 too.

Man I love these blades; the "rawness" is something that cannot be really appreciated until you hold a brand new one in your hand; I ordered straight from EKI; and it is awesome. Thanks Ernie for making such great tools man, I really dig them.
And thanks guys for putting up with me and reading this.

I forgot to say that the G10 is super grippy, I love it when it is new; then it wears to a perfect texture.

I found myself fond of the 1st box I received with that packing tape on it. LOL, just looked under my bench at work and I still have it.:p
 
Thanks Rayster! Yeah it is a cool thing. I also got a catalog and I took pictures of all the pages, but I thought that would be excessive posting them.
 
Looks terrific! Congrats! I'm a little jealous, though. My CQC-15 was held up and won't arrive until Monday :(
 
^^I feel your pain! My Roadhouse isn't arriving till Monday assuming all goes well with UPS.

I see Rayster's got a Roadhouse coming also, good deal! I don't know what it is about the Roadhouse, and also the 15, that draws me, the grinds are awesome indeed. I'll check back on Monday to see your blades dudes, can't wait.
 
congrats this is definitely one of my favorite Emerson designs because the blade just blends the best of both worlds to me. It has a Tanto with a bit of a belly
 
Wow another great knife. All the roadhouses I seen lately their appeal is starting to grow on me. Enjoy it!

Thanks guys. Yeah the subtle belly on that lowered tanto shaped blade is just awesome in my eyes; Ernie's description of it is right on, drop the clutch baby!

Oh and the tape in the box is just cool; this is the first time I buy direct from EKI; their customer service is excellent.

Thanks; I've been waiting a long time to get it, and the wait was worth it, I don't know if you have ever handled one but it is a treat; classic Emerson ergos. Btw, we really enjoyed your story in the GAW thread, the kids loved it, and it made me laugh, thanks man.

Thanks man! Yeah the clip is very cool, I didn't expect the color, it is almost like black chrome, not shiny like a regular steel clip; very cool. Yeah I need the mini and the super; as well as a super 8; then I'll be totally content. There are so many Emersons I'd like to get its crazy; by the way that is a cool shot; the mini doesn't look that mini, if you know what I mean. That is a nice gun, is that a Karr pistol? Looks nice with the mini there.
 
Hey Brother Maka. Yes thats a Kahr Arms pm40. Its a pretty small sub compact 40cal i edc with the mini.


I know the feeling on wanting so many...i have 29 right now and want more..lol!

Yea, I have a CSF. The same handle, and I agree the ergo's are outstanding. That handle, and the CQC-8 are my favorites in my collection.

About the story, thanks. I was just trying to be as outlandish as possible. I'm glad the effort wasn't wasted.
