The rough

Thanks. The original handle (mags) was superb but too heavy and... a real shredder for my hands. It's better for me now.

Pretty cool, I like how you left the dimples in there, really adds character

Nice job looks really nice all stripped with the handles all smoothed down too.

Hi Coupchoux .Super look . Can you describe your method? Did you strip the paint
and hand sand from there? any machines involved?

Thanks

Silverband,

All by hand, no machine.

1. G10 handle :
- Coarse sandpaper(Rapid removal of material)
- 400 grit sandpaper
- Steel wool (0000#)

2. Blade :
The Busse paint :
- Paint remover (be carefull : SurfPro Buster for paint & varnish tend to disolve the G10 epoxy). I use toothpicks and cotton swabs for precision.
- Methil hydrate (wood alcohol) to neutralise the paint striper).
- Steel wool (0000#)
- Water.
The steel :
- 400 grit sandpaper
- Steel wool (0000#)

I have also seen stripper affect G10. So I tend to be careful.

Looks like a great job there.

I like that you left some texture in the low spots.
