The Russlock Thread...

I've decided after carrying this for several years that it's my favorite pocketknife of all time. I never notice the "lever" in my pocket. It's not too small to cut bread. It's not too big to yank a splinter. It's not too thick in the pocket, not too long and/or heavy. It doesn't look like something a terrorist would carry, and it's made in U.S.A.

I was on a ladder yesterday and needed to make a cut and REALLY didn't want to let go with my other hand and my trusty Russlock was out, open, made the cut, closed and we were both back on safe ground in a few seconds.

My only one, but it has its own thread: "Mom died, so I bought a knife".
It's pretty close to her favorite color.

I'd always sort of wanted a Russlock, but had reservations about the narrow, upturned blade.
I still have to get one of the original shape.
[Just been looking; I think it will have to wait a bit, what with two Rosecraft Christmas presents to myself already in the mail.]
