The Rusty Sgian Dubh, Pix

Well here y'all go as promised. Sorry about the quality of the pix but it wasn't cloudy here today while I was taking the pix so I couldn't get the diffused light.
In the pix with the Rusty Sgian Dubh side up you can see the face of the little gremlin or troll towards the top of the handle.
There are two wide open eyes and a wide open mouth a little ways below.
What? You can't see it? Use your imagination.


This is one helluva sharp little knife no two ways about it!!!!:thumbup:

Nope, the only thing I did was sharpen the extra dull blade. Yangdu always sends me the most dull.

Interesting... the jimping seems to extend pretty far forward.

Thanks for the pictures Yvsa. It is a beauty! The gremlin seems to be smiling at Ya Yvsa. Truly a good sign!

When I got married here in Canada I decided to wear highland dress as my grandfather was Scottish and I had never worn a kilt before. The hire shop gave me all the accessories which included a black plastic skean dhu. I told them I was a collector of sharp pointy things and would not have a piece of plastic pretending to be a knife. I bought a real one.

Yours is really nice and I love the face in it. I look for faces in things too. It means it has soul.
