I've owned a plain edge micarta SPOT for a few months and I love this little knife! So, what more could I want from this knife? Well, this is what I want: I blade about an inch longer! I honestly like the feel of the SPOT better than any kerambits I've held, but I would love a little bit longer blade. So, get on it Sal! :D (or not, as I'm overly happy with the SPOT as it is...but, admit it; a slightly longer blade would be very cool!)

I have to agree that the SPOT is spot on but I like the little blade.
I recently became one handed for just a few months..THANK YOU GOD!!
I initially sneered at the little bugger.
Now that I'm lefty only it comes in right handy.
If only I had the pe instead of se it would be so much better.
My perspective is from a user not sd view.
I have it round my neck always, cept while sleeping.
That'd make a poor headline in the papers...wouldn't it??
hahahaha
Man strangled by knife! Kerry endorses banning sharp knives!!

Hey, can I get any support for this idea??? :p Seriously, some of you other SPOT owners share your opinions! I personally feel that this is the best neck knife on the market.

Best neck knife, yes. Best sheath, NO. Personally I feel the factory sheath is way too bulky for neck carry. I wouldn't mind seeing a bigger SPOT, but any bigger and it wouldn't work as a neck knife for me personally (I have a short torso). It would make one heck of a defensive blade though.

Roadrunner, I agree about the size of the sheath. What I did was take some black leather strips, ran them through the holes on the sheath in a kind of criss-cross pattern, and then I wear it on my belt horizontaly. It works like a charm and can be worn righty or lefty!

Indeed i like the spot just as much, it has been on my kneck constantly for a few weeks, but i have to admit that i also think the blade is "small". I don't think it's not a good cutter, but i would like to have a larger blade with it. But we have to remember that it is a slash weapon wich by nature of the small blade is seen upon as non threathening. Because of the small blade it is legal in most states, and it is harder to make lethal wounds with, wich in a trial could do u a big favor. I would like to see a mini version of a civilian blade or a hawkbill blade on it. Maybe the great Spider could make a morph of a spot and a Karambit, that would be a great knife. :D
