Well, I love titanium and I love carbon fiber. I own a sage 1 and sage 2. So why not have both CF and titanium on the same knife? Don't know if anyone has tried to do this... Something I noticed. My sage 1 had really early lockup, like 20%. My sage 2 had lockup around 40%. The lockup on the Ti framelock is now absolutely perfection. I will let the pictures speak for themselves.

Overall, everything fits like a glove. Both knives are perfectly centered and have rock solid lockup.

I was thinking of doing that at some point.
I had always wondered how the titanium and carbon fiber (liner lock side) would look, as I'd be buying them; don't have any.
Now I know.

It's not too shabby. :)

Yes, I kept the locking side with the same blade along with the pillars, stop pin, washers.

I did this but didn't like it nearly as much as I thought I would. I ended up switching them back.
