I know this has been sung a thousand times before, but I have to add mine here...

I had some (extremely minor) problems with a new sebenza after it returned from the factory for a modification, and Chris must have called three times this afternoon insisting that I return the knife to them, both so they can repair it, but more importantly, so they can figure out how not to let it happen again (and we're truly talking about a minor problem here).

Chris and Anne, and the rest of the staff at CRK have proved, over and over again, just what a class act they are. I am consistently floored by the high road Anne takes on the forums, sometimes in the face of some pretty snippy comments by the uninitiated.

I decided many years ago that I would always vote with my money, and I keep casting my vote to CRK. In light of their response I ordered another sebenza just to not have to be without while mine is off in the hospital. This is an expensive vote, but their product quality and the quality of people they keep proving themselves to be demands it.

Thanks to everyone at CRK!

Well, My wife bought me my Sebenza from a dealer here. It had everything in the box but the allen wrench. I emailed CRK to ask what size wrench I needed to get. Ann emailed back almost immediatly and said I should not have to buy one, she said to email my addy to her. I did, and recieved the wrench a few days later. It was just a wrench and nothing expensive, but its the small things that a company or person does that shows they care about the customer. CRK has great customer service and outstanding knives. I will vote with my money also, when I can afford it

PS - also included in my initial email was a ton of questions which ann answered each one in detail. Thanks CRK.

Yet another reason to be happy about my new knife. I have heard nothing but good about CRK, both the company and the product.

Anne is always very attentive and wants all of us `Benza boys and girls to be very happy with our various knives. Recently they helped me out in a very quick manner, thanks again Anne and gang!

PS
It is rumored that soon I'll be the proud daddy of an Umfaan, 1999 version, fingers crossed, and LarryLuana, you'll be the second to know!

I'll second the good things about CRK! Larry I thought we had a deal on CRK stuff? I was supposed to get first shot!

'Tis true, CRK takes very good care of their customers.

My wife bought me a large Sebenza for my birthday in '98. When it became apparent that it wasn't going to be received on time,
I shot a call to CRK and spoke to Bridget to inquire as to the time frame.

Not only did she find me a knife, but CRK paid for second day delivery to me so that I would have it on time. And I had made my purchase through one of their dealers! He was supposed to get it first, then ship it to me himself. Amazing.

Also, I received one of the "clip hole thingies" (what the heck is the proper name?)in the mail without my having paid for it. Just a note saying that they thought I wanted one and couldn't find my Visa number on file at the time. I could send a check if I wanted to keep it. (I did.)

Truly outstanding service, and great products to boot.

Not likely that I'll forget to mention their kindness when someone asks about their service.

Copfish, it's not coming from Larry, just that Larry needs a nice sheath for his Umfaan and if I get one, he and I will be chatting soon....

I gave CRK a call to order some accerories and spoke with Bridgette, but I don't do credit cards. Bridgette said "no problem, I'll ship the stuff out and send me a check in the mean time." Talk about doing business the old fashioned way (with a hand shake) WOW! I am one loyal and dedicated CRK customer. THANKYOU!

I have to echo what's being said here.

The best move I ever made was to put the CRK line in my shop. It is one of my best sellers, not to mention my favorite brand of cutlery.

I've really enjoyed working with Anne and Chris & the crew. Bridget is the epitome of customer service.

I've met some pretty fine people since I started in this business a few years ago but they are the best. If only all of the other folks I deal with were such a class act.

Thanks for setting the standard that all of us should reach for.

I received another very pleasant email from Anne this morning, just double checking that I could receive my latest at my work address. Always nice to hear good news from such a great lady.

Gary-
I got my fingers crossed, and I will be ready for a sheath when you have the time to make one.No hurry cause I know you are a busy man, but glad I waited. It is just hard to let go of a Umfann once you own one, even if it is only to get a sheath made. Thanks for putting Fish at ease.

Copfish- Gary answered you before I had a chance. And yes you would be first if I were going to get rid of one of my Sebenzas, BUT don't hold your breath.I'd have to be down to my last can of dog food before I sold one. I waited too long to get the money together to get my trio.

On another note, I sent my small Sebenza in to CR this last week for some improvements, and accessories, and like you people said, they are a pleasure to talk to on the phone. They must be able to tell when they talk to you that you don't want to be without it long, as they try to ease your pain, and assure you they will get it back to you ASAP.

Great people, great service!!

Larry

Larry, gotta love it! What Sebenza to get next? Larry you NEED to check out the Tanto...

Fish-
I contemplated the tanto, but I don't think it is my cup of tea.But I am thinking either a decorated Benza or a small CR fixed blade. He has such a good selection, it is a rough decision when you are a retired person on limited funds. But never fear there will another.

Thanks for the insight.

Larry

I'm not a tanto fan myself but a Sebenza ensemble wouldn't be complete without one. The problem is, not being a NICA member, I'm going to have to pay full retail for one.

Oh well, some things just have to be done.
