Seems like every time I get in the same room with Joe Keeslar I get this "infection" and need to come back home and make a Brut de Forge.
It's a disease.
So, I came up with the "Samurai Hunter"!
A traditional wrapped handle with ray skin under-lay, but with a clipped hunter profile on a 1095 blade with a hamon.
With a mirror polished spine and clip.
And I do believe she's gettin' a Kydex sheath!
Confusing.

Wow, that is quite a mix of different styles, but I like it. Nice work and very nice hamon.

Great looking work. Everything flows on this knife. Great mix of styles together with fantastic lines. I really like the subtle curve of the spine from the blade tip to the butt of the handle along with all the rest of this knife.

I like it.
I like the combination of the rough forge marks, the fine hamon and the unexpected cordwrap.

One question came to mind:
-Samurai hunter-
Is it a knife for a samurai who likes to hunt or is it a knife for a man who hunts samurai?
