Fausto sent me a great looking resolza. I hope I have the term right for this beautiful Sardinian knife. It is a beaut. I need to get a Photobucket account so I can upload pics. Anyway, the next time I see Carl, I have to remember to bring my peanuts, my Resolza and my stockmans. Take a group pic.

I think Fausto's plan for world domination is eclipsing my own. The Cult of the Peanut and the Sardinian syndicate have brokered an alliance. The Empire and, well, not Jabba, let's go for Boba Fett.

Congratulations on the Resolza@!!!

But be wary, these things are as alluring as the peanut, with a particular as well as peculiar charm that makes them habit forming. The handle shape loves to nestle into the hand like it was meant to be there. Very very nice knives.:thumb up:

Gratuitous photo of resolza cleaning fresh sardines. These knives were made to cut!

I request photos! I love the pattada/resolza. One of the greatest designs in my opinion that lends itself to everything with a needle tip to boot.

Pics or it didn't happen!!

(send me one and I'll post it!):D

Sardinian Pattada, with a 3 1/2" Barlow for scale. The traditional Sardinian knives have a certain beauty and purposefulness!

Not a resolza - I will delete if you object!

I have two resolzas, great knives, and wonderful for food prep, meats and veggies excellent.
Comfortable to use as well. Love 'em.

Thanks for the pics Charlie! :) Dan, congrats on joining the Sardinian connection  Your knife is a real beauty, a treasure really! Nice that you have such a wonderful and alluring piece of cutlery. Mine gets used in the kitchen often. They really are as wondrous to use, as to look upon and admire. Congrats!

Beautiful Resolza adn photos Charlie, they make for some mighty fine kitchen knives with that lovely sweeping belly

I have been remiss in my promise to Fausto to post a review. I've had a lot going on, compounded by sleep apnea. My pup passed last week, my great aunt passed yesterday. Staying late at work, going to bed late. Soon as I get home I take my pup for a walk, then fix dinner and go to bed. You can bet I don't forget the dinner. Every night I get my Taber Zulu and my Resolza out to take pics, but always forget. I need to make a plan to set down and take pics before my walk on Friday. Charlie, I hope that I can still send pics to you. Fausto, I'll keep an eye out for that package, and I am hoping to get some good sausage for the grill this weekend, or even a steak. 12C27 is such a good steel, I've had it on Kershaws and Bark Rivers. My fudge diabetic neuropathy fingers had to find a good purchase on the blade for easy opening, but after about five seconds, I got it. I haven't used it for anything but cleaning my fingernails, but it does look like a good food prep blade. It's so pretty I'm afraid to use it.
