Along with the several HI Khuk's I've ordered recently, I wanted one that I could feel comfortable taking on motorcycle camping trips. I visited Terry Sisco's website The Sarki Shop to see what he offered and saw an old military model on consignment. Since part of the low price was due to the lack of a scabbard, I asked Terry to make one for me before delivering the Khuk (Terry assured me that this was a workable Khuk, so I felt comfortable in investing in it sight unseen).

It arrived today and is a fantastic rig! It is thinner than the HI standard, which will afford better carry in it's lower weight but still looks to be sturdy enough for any sane use. At about 16", it's a fine midsize Khuk. I will try to get some pics later tonight, especially of the sawtooth cho! Too bad I can't photograph how sharp the convex (yup, like Yvsa says) blade is...maybe I need to do a mini movie like Dan does? I also asked Terry to round the end of the grip just a tad on the top...beautifully done!

The rig is one of his military models with brown leather (Yvsa's favorite!) and a khaki cover. This sheath fits better than any other I've handled. Again, pics later tonight, words don't do it justice!

Terry, great Khuk, wonderful sheath, overall a fantastic rig and great craftsmanship! I have plans for a 12" Villager to go visit Cousin Terry soon...it's already whining "Are we there yet?"

Thanks Terry! :D

Nice knife and sheath. That cho means that Batman used to use that knife :D

mPisi...LOL...Do I have permission to use that? :D

hollowdweller...Thanks! :D The biggest surprise was the decorative parts of the Khuk...I couldn't see from Terry's pic that the bolster was steel, the buttcap was brass, the two brass rings, and especially the brass pins with steel centers! I am *totally* pleased!
