The Scallion I gave as a gift turned out to be a big surprise for me!

OK, so we went to my best friend's 55th birthday party Saturday night, and I bought him a Scallion as a gift. Well, I thought I'd get a little funny, and wrap the thing in about 10 wrappings of paper and 30 ft. of tape, layer after layer. Well, he ripped at it for a minute and finally said To hell with this, and pulled out of his pocket...A CHIVE!

So he is surprised, and so am I, and I asked him about Kershaw knives. He has most all of the AO's, except for the Mini TiZDP and the Scallion. I was carrying my Mini TiZDP, and when he saw it, he went crazy!

I thought for a minute I'd never get it back from him...So he's ordering his Mini TiZDP on Monday. ThomasW, I hope you still have some of these left, or I may be in a heap of trouble.

Just goes to show, you never know when you're going to run into another Kershaw nut!
 
In over 20 years, knives have never come up in detailed disussion. We ride together, and with a few others, so the conversations are usually Harley related.

But I'm sure from now on, one of the first things discussed will be "whatcha carrying today?"
 
Thanks for the cool story. Looks you've been inspired with the Scallion. However, I suspect he'll like the MiniCy even more ;)
