There is a long story behind this one. I'll post some links to it later but my sincere thanks to Joe Mason the engraver on this knife and Lori Ristinen, the scrimshander.
This is RWL-34 with inlayed ivory scrimed with the same picture on the front and back but from totally different persepectives. Look closely at the doe on the front and back. Joe carried the scrim through the bolster by engraving extensions of the trees in the top of the frame and then Joe's own engraving with gold inlay. I came up with the initial concept and these two exceptional artists humbled me with their contribution to this project.
Thanks for having a look...

I've been waiting to see the finished product, and it looks worth the wait. Absolutely beautiful!

Very Very nice. Any one whould be proud to have this knife in their collection.
But them bulls eyes on the deer are not in the anatomiclly correct spot.:)

Holy crap! That knife is amazing. It is one of the few that I have called my wife over to look at. (She doesnt share the same enthusiasm for knives that I do) Great work to all

thank you gentlemen. That one took over a year to complete but I think it came out.

My wife shares ZERO enthusiasm for knives. She occasionally will pretend to look at one just to make me happy and then she is back to what ever she is doing. I guess her needle point kinda hits me the same way...:D
