Had a little trouble finding this, but picked it up on the 'bay from a dealer. Most of you know that the chisel grinds *can* be a pain to sharpen, especially if you use a sharpmaker, and they aren't really the best slicers in the world
So I reground this one to around .003" thick behind the edge while at the same time converting it to a conventional "V" ground edge, and sharpened it up on the Wicked Edge to 15 dps... is a cutting machine now. And that's what makes Emersons so great for a scandi type edge - the low primary grind. And now it's SUPER easy to touch up on the sharpmaker in only a few seconds and be able to maintain for a long time.
And I just have to throw out there that this is by far the smoothest folder that Emerson has put out to date... from the factory at least!
