Greetings to all..this has been a great journey in my life..I started researching the history of the Kuhkuri several months ago...Amazing story of the weapons' origin and the people who made and used them... It led me to HI..I was reading forums, old and new..What i was reading was a story about an individual, Bill Martino, who charted a future in caring about the people in Nepal and meeting his wife, Yangdu and Sherpa, her father and bringing HI to life..I was reading forums from 2010 by Howard Wallace...He knew Bill, Yangdu and Sherpa. It is a fantastic story, as were many others..At that point, i stumbled across a forum by Bill saying that one day we will all have passed away..Himself, the great Kamis involved in their business and so on...The point of the story struck me as all good things in life come to and end...Then i realized these stories from 1999 to 2004 are getting a bit of history behind them now....The hands of time will never stop!!! At that very moment i went back to the current forum on 9/19 and saw the Sher Attitude..It had been in Yangdus' collection for a couple of years..I EMS and it is mine..I just got back in to town and opened the box..I am in awe...I realize it is a bowie type blade and not a khuk..No matter...It is made by Sher, who has been around for a while, AND it was in Yangdus' collection for a couple of years...Now it will be in my collection of weapons and will never strike a blow....It will someday be an old story that has a lot of meaning behind it...If i knew how to post pics. of this trophy, i would...Most of you know what they look like..This is the best i can do... I also want to thank the current forum contributors for your wealth of knowledge regarding these blades/choppers/weapons...You people have found something worth wanting to know about..It is great!!!! Thank you again Yangdu for opening that EMS that evening...The SA is in good hands...
