The ASH doesn't really do anything for me, but I had a chance at a skinny in Bama Clay recently and was mighty tempted. It would be a heck of a younger brother to match my FSH.

I'd really like to actually beat on one for a while and see what I thought of it. It's amazing how my opinion of certain blades changes after smacking them for a while.

Same here. I didn't like it when I saw it at first. But, after looking at it and going over the specs. and reviews/vids... it now seems like a perfect general user. Pair that with a CG FBM and I think I'd have a nice user set.

It really feels great in the hand. I have the Ash1cg with mags. Which is overkill, honestly. It does not feel super thick any more, but that is because I am used to that thickness.
 
The Skinny ASH-1 is probably my favourite Busse ... certainly my favourite practically sized user INFI. It's too dark (and cold!) out right now to take new pics, but here are a couple I already have online:
