Yesterday I recieved a small unique graphic. As soon as I put it in my hands I knew it was just to small for me:( Its a very stunning knife to bad I didn't take any pics as I already sent her back to Edged Specialties. I'd like to say that the knife fits in my hand very comfortably 4 finger purchase like most, I think its just that I'm used to the lrg's and Para2's mostly and I don't really work around Sheeple so I don't think I'd need be best suited for the small size. I will say that I did like how the small has the same blade stock as the lrg. I think I found the graphics aren't for me, I took it out in the sun to se it better and the damn thing nearly blinded me:D It was just to nice to muck up, so it probly would have never got to see the use it was designed for. I'm rambling now so I'll add one last thing Travis from Edged Specialties is a very good guy to deal with all my e-mail's were responded to asap and he hooked it up with a few extra goodies he really went above and beyond so  to him. By the way I'm exchanging it for an Umnum

That's too bad. Get a large micarta or plain Jane. Personally, I love the Smalls. Ye they are small but I use Mine a lot and am impressed with how much of a great job they do.

That stinks, but good on you for getting a zaan. I'm use to the Large aswell so I don't see a small in my future either. Different strokes for different folks!

Yeah it was kind of a bummer but it was a fine knife thats for sure, it was very smooth as well with a nice 50-60% lockup

Like all of you have said, I think a lot of how a new knife feels in the hand has to do with what you are used to. I am accustomed to how a small Insingo feels, so any knife I try that is larger than that, just feels like more knife than I need. I even notice the difference when it is in my pocket. The extra size and weight are certainly discernable. But I think if I carried a large Sebenza for say a week or two, I think I would adjust to it just fine.

Of course hand size has a lot to do with how a knife feels. I wouldn't like my fingers falling off the end of a knife that was too small for my hand. Therefore, I think the question of whether a knife is too small or to large is a function of both hand size and what you are accustom to.

Luckily, we have CRK's in a variety of sizes :D

Yep luckily there are plenty choices, if I worked in office or around more people I'd probably have never gone with a lrg in the first place and I guess thats what I've become acustomed to. I'm still thinking of a Mnandi as a nice gents knife theres a beut of a bocote one I was pondering also

You will not be disappointed with the Mnandi. If you have found one you like, I would not wait too long. They tend to disappear quickly.
