The SP 46 looks interesting to me. might get one. Still studying all the Ontario knifes

I finally found out the difference between the sp 46 and 47... flat and saber. Doesnt say anything on the specs about the grind on the above site

1. These are supposed to be full tang. Is the handle permanently molded on?

2. Is there a good site that shows all the Ontario knifes with good specs list?

I dont even see the sp47 on the OKC site. Other knifes I dont even see shown on there either

Long time listener, 1st time caller.

That is too bad that the SP47 is going out of production.

I really love the hollow sabre grind. A real work horse blade. Same on the SP49. Both great knives.

I would say get them while you can.

The entire Spec Plus Gen II line is good to go! I've got a personal SP46 and SP49, love the crap out of both of them. Set up the whole SP Gen II line at the store where I work. It is a shame to see that some of the models are going to be discontinued. I guess I had better get some while the getting is good!

Edited to add: I have beat the tar out of my two Ontarios and they continue to perform like rockstars. I honest to God, can't think of a single better value in a large heavy-duty knife.

There are better ones...but as usual they are Ontarios even for around the same price.

I recently bought a new SP47 for about $44 delivered. Now that is a value!
