Sorry for the crappy phone pics. Blade says 'Joker C Albacete'. Made in Albacete, Spain. Can't find one like it online. They make a lot of knives though. I dig it. I only have one Opinel and it is bigger.

Pretty cool. With such an iconic shape there must be an Opinel imitation made in many countries. Hell, even some "real" Opinels are copies of proper ones.

I like the character of the wood handle on the Spaniard.

That's not exactly an Opinel shape, though. It fits somewhere in the spectrum of the Spanish knife style known as "navaja".

It IS really comfortable in the hand. I like the shape better than the Opinel standard I think. And the blade has some meat to it. This knife was a dirty swollen mess when I got it. Took me a few days to clean it, but I'm pretty stoked.

I like the shape closed, too. Curve helps hide the beef in the blade.

Daughter didn't think I was holding it right. ;)

Very nice simple shape, a typical European worker's knife. Like that.

Good to see you encouraging the next generation with pocket knives, she looks suitably reverential about the knife! Excellent start.

I've never seen one of those before- I like it!

Joker does make a huge variety of knives, but I haven't found a place that sells a very wide selection stateside.

Thanks man. I looked at a lot of their knives trying to find this one. They are DIVERSE.

There was just a good article on those knives and that town in Spain in one of the recent Tactical Knives magazine's issues.
