The Civilian- is it worth it to give up the stabbing capability for the slashing capability?

In a true self-defense scenario, the claw style knife blades are great for slashing techniques. You can e-mail me for more info. shorinki@aol.com.

Would you rather attempt to deliver a blow past their defending limbs and hope it penetrates something vital in the upper torso? Or make a swing at their limbs that they only need to get in the way of to receive a wound that'll get their attention away from you and onto their own shock and pain? I'll take the latter, and it doesn't hurt that the slash scenario is less likely to leave you facing manslaughter charges even if you do survive.

The Civilian is designed for defense. IMO, all others folks consider are designed for "fighting," which is pretty silly in a 4" folder.
