Tom asked me to coordinate this passaround. It is the Spyderco Story ( The Shape of Sharp?) It's a book.

Recognizing it might take more than a few days more to read, evaluation period is a week.

The rules are:

I purchased the Spyderbook at a gunshow on a Saturday afternoon and was finished reading it by late Sunday night. It is just that good! I actually sat in the truck, ate an MRE, and read for a couple of hours before even leaving the gunshow parking lot!

Great idea for a passaround item.

Thanks for redirecting me. Is it possible to get some of my work in on the pass around? I've been making knives for about 14 months now and would like to have my work critiqued. All the local folks love it but, they're also used to the Wal-Mart variety stuff. I'm looking for brutally honest constructive criticism, hope this is the place to find it.
 
Welcome to Bladeforums. I think you're supposed to purchase a knifemaker subscription before you can promote your knives on these forums. Best of luck, hope to see your knives soon. Cheers.
 
I'm working on the order, one person is in college, so I'm checking to see if they will be there in 2 months.

Anyone else not going to be home in the next 4 months?


Also I want to thank Tom for making this happen, it's cool that the passaround concept is taking hold.
 
OK, due to some scheduling problems I had to make an order change, this it the order I propose the passaround occur:

I don't know that would be up to Tom.

Course with Canadien custom it would take 2 months to clear and cost the first person $20 probably. :rolleyes:
 
Dave what are you figuring here on time, 2-3 months? I have no problem doing a Canadian pass around after this, we could start with Rob and get it to him in the US and he could work the pass around then return it the same way if that would sound ok to you all. I only read a book one time then it becomes reference material, if it's not going around it would be on a shelf and books do no one any good on a shelf, unless maybe your using one to prop the shelf up :)
