Can any one give me some information on the SpyKer, a knife designed together by spyderco and kershaw? (didn't know if I should post this in kershaw forum or spyderco, but judging by the looks of it I went with Kershaw.

Kershaw looks Spyderco feel.... I had one, it was too much Spyderco for me. If you want to get one make sure you handle it first. Some of them had some gaps between the G10 and the CF. I am sure there are some perfect ones out there. I just haven't seen them.

You mean like this? I love it. Light, sharp, NOT a backlock (well, no framelock either, but still good enough for me). No gaps noticed this far

i heard they were pretty good so i check a website and they were selling for 260$ but that was canadian website so its probably 100$ cheaper in the USA

ew.

hope the Kershaw version looks better.

Ummm, that IS the Kershaw version. It was a Kershaw/Spyderco/Ken Onion collaboration, and there's only one version:D

My take on it, is that for any serious Kershaw collector, it can't hurt to have it in the stable. I mean, it is a Kershaw to a certain degree, and Ken Onion had a hand in the design (look at that Bump-esqe blade):D So really, even though you may not carry and use it every day, why not grab one for the safe;)

lol i know there is only one version... you can keep one in your safe, but i think Spyderco can keep this one.

I agree. Too much Spyderco, not enough Kershaw. Though Ken's influence is evident in the handle shape, if he played any role in the blade, it was over-shadowed by the ugly, humongous "Spydie Hole." IMHO. Bleah.
