When I first looked into Beckers, I wanted a good woods blade, & brother, the 9 fit the bill! As soon as I got it, I had to fill the pocket on the sheath, so I quickly ordered the 13.
This seems like a broken record, I know. "I got more Beckers!" For you younger folks, a broken record is just a repeat.
Well, much reading proved that the Becker line is a long, sinewy vine, stretching back many moons. Hmmmm, this will take some basic research, me thinks.
Ok, I had a look at my kit, and wondered if there was cause for more BK's. Perhaps the nephews (as I have no kids or family of my own) might one day have use.
Anyway, I ventured a foray into the used market, where the waters run deep and narrow. Time counts, investment opportunities come and go, some are ignored, and some are seized.
Today, I have another 3 Beckers that fell off the production line, I know not when. Though not the most shrewd invester of all time, I found them within my reach.
Therefore, they deserve the care and respect due of any fine tool that I may aquire. Cleaned, lubricated, outfitted in my fashion, sharpened as best I can, now getting closer to being ready for serious use, should the opportunity present itself. But, I like having a good knife for its own sake, or two, or more.
On top is a Camillus BK2(serrated), then under that, from left to right on either side of my Kabar BK9&13 more Camillus steel, a BK6, and a BK1.

I've been as giddy as a puppy in a haypile.
