The Stag Chiruwa AK-A Real Beaut!

The 16.5" Stag handled Chiruwa AK that I snagged last week arrived today. I picked it up for an uncle of mine and he won't be disappointed. As with many of HI's handles, the stag handle on this one looks better in person. Its fit and finish is just about perfect. The bolster and buttcap almost look like they're gold-plated due to the contrast with the mostly white colored handle. The karda on this one is interesting because it has a drop point configuration which looks very nice with its stag handle.

The AK handles very well for its 29 oz IMO. I can see why so many here swear by the 16.5" AKs.

I've already sharpened the khuk to a convex edge and tomorrow it flies off to my uncle's.

Honestly, i have never felt an handle material that i liked more than stag. it's like it takes the best props of wood and horn, then makes them more beautiful than it was ever meant to be You're uncle is gonna love it.
