So, I was thinking and it came to me. Figured we could fashion it after our friends at Fox since both Bill O'reiley and Glenn Beck both are proud owners of Busse knives.:cool:


Lets make a bet for a donation like O'Reilly and John Stossel do for Wounded Warriors Foundation onto FNC all the time. It cant be illegal if they do it publicly and it would be for a good cause.


Well, the stakes for me and Liu are a knife of my choosing for a Cause of my choosing that will more than make everyone happy. THis is not a cheap task so if Liu will honor me with accepting this challenge we can proceed in the challenge thread:cool::thumbup:


So, everyone knows this will be shop credits that will cost upto $1200.00 or more depending if Liu wants to raise:)



(Pending Jerry Busse's approval, and of course Liu Kang's acceptance)

Now, if Liu Kang folds there will be no disgrace, and there will be no touchdown dance etc.



SO, I guess all I want to know is.......

Greg, I propose that Liu and I finish our challenge. THese are the stakes of that game.

But I am proposing that one of us is going to give back regardless of who wins:cool:

I'm not sure this is a good idea. I know what I have but I don't think I can show everything I have at all. I'm still half a stealth HOG, I don't share everything I have and I can't and won't. Not everything can be seen by all eyes period.
Second I think it would too hard to judge and that can cause hard feelings.
Third, with stakes at hand, it's hard not for one not to go all out and someone has to lose and then it's not just for fun. I think it would be better to keep it just at the fun level. Besides, you only think you got more =)

If you have so much, then why not donate something INFI to a good cause? For Bill Gates, $10,000 is like a quarter in the couch. You have a ton of INFI and I'm certain you profit from every sale. Of course, you certainly don't have to donate if you don't want to; it is after all your choice. But it may be one that many don't understand. If you can, then why not? If you can't, then maybe T does in fact have more and won before you even got out of the gate. I don't know. I think if I had 50 or 100 or 200 Busses, I could do a giveaway once in a while without breaking too much of a sweat. You should try it sometime if you haven't already done so. Really, what's a few hundred bucks when you have inventory on hand worth in the tens of thousands of dollars, if not more?

A dealer giving back to the community for a good cause is awesome.

But,it sounds like Liu doesn't want to hurt his bottom line in profits from the community..

The more I read about the Ganzaas and how long time members get first dibs,the more it looks like I'm not going to get the customs I requested.So I will be buying one on the open market...care to take a guess at who will get about $1K from me ? ;)

Not sure what you have been reading,:confused: but everyone who participates in the ganzaa has the same chances. I can tell you from helping sort the ganzaa emails that there are more than a few knives going to piglets who's HOG FU was strong, and more than a few longtime hogs who got stomped at the trough. Be patient and wait for Amy to start emailing. You may be surprised.

T, sorry to derail your thread for one post, but I must clear the air for Trijicog.

Trijicog, everybody has an equal chance in every Ganza. It's is not seniority, nor "tenure", nor how much one buys, or has even been a HOG that determines the results... It is only speed. The faster you get your email out after the GO thread is posted (and the faster it is received at Busse, which is how they rank us in order for what we request), the closer you will be to the front of the line. It is "first come first served". That's it. No joke. Pork Rinds, Piglets, HOGs & Alpha Boars are all equal in Ganza's. :thumbup:

People brand new to buying Busse's score in the Ganza all the time.


Heck, there have been people score by phone email and get goods!

Nothing to do with seniority.

Now, the Tricks, and treachery and shenanigans do get easier to navigate with practice.

I've been collecting a few Busses for only the last 8 months or so. I'm a nobody with a small collection (14 + any lucky Ganza hits). Point is, these super collections being displayed are spectacular is scope and diversity, and are mind-boggling. I'm guesstimating more in the multiple 6-figure zone. Just saying... :cool:
 
I have to agree with Garth, and Jaxx on the speed factor and that is the only way.....

I have never won, and you know what its cool. You know why? Cause I know I was slow. Deep down, this one here will probably never win, and I am ok with that too. I try and prank others and sometimes my self. I ve been offf trying to find a thread to bump to get ya . I find my way back few minutes later and its over. LMAO!

I dont own a # 1 yet. THats why its so cool. Cause I am still trying and the day I do win. I will know it was cause I got it right! It was the day.:thumbup:

But hey,the short time I have been here,you seem really cool..so if you beat me by a second or two,I wouldn't mind..

Now if someone else beats me,and the knives I wanted are listed for sale the next day at a $400 markup along with 10 others..

I'll live,just not as happily ever after :D
