Hello,
Live from Paris.
Fred is now holding his Starmate number 776 !
Nemo: "Fred, you first impressions ?"
Fred (holding the Starmate sadly):"I wonder if there is any future for custom cutlery...
The realization is top notch. It's all look like a "Military Plus".
And you what, there is a lanyard hole !
The bigger spacer in G-10 on the handle should give a better rigidity to tha handle and the lanier.
The general shape make you feel there is a real improvement in ergonomy. A pleasure to hold in your hand.
The blade is really nice ! MAssive, thick and partial hollow ground ! At first glance it's going to be an excellent knife.
At least as good as the Military
Also I still in love with the Military for two important points. The butt of the handle which is a garranty to hold the knife during slashes and also I really like the V-grind integral of the C-36.
Now I will carry the Starmate and I tell you more soon. Tonight I got to prepare the food !"
Thank you Fred !
Cheers,
JM
