So, I just got my Ganga Ram Bonecutter and thought I would share some shots of it. This might be the first Khukuri, but I doubt it will be the last. Thanks to Yangdu for putting up with me until I got a DOTD. :D

Nice pictures of a beautiful khukri. They are giving me all kinds of dirty thoughts. ;) Now take that blade out and use it!

Which Kami and what size is it. I am eagerly awaiting the arrival of my first khukuri a 15 inch 25 ounce Ganga Ram/Bonecutter by Murali Kami from today's DOTD.

I'm sure you will love yours too. What an excellent piece. Yes, it will be getting used. Unfortunately, unless I want to take down a healthy tree in the yard I am going to have to wait until we go camping in a few weeks.

Cpl Punishment the chair came with the house we bought a few years ago so I'm not sure where it came from. I asked the originally home owner but she said she couldn't remember.

The BC is heavier than the Khuk I got at Khukhuri Blades. The handle is a bit larger around as well, and I have pretty small hands, but I'm sure I'll make the adjustment just fine. :D

If you like how the blade performs you can file down the handle and modify it without much trouble. Just go slowly and check often.

Me wants action pictures and a field review:D

Will do Dan can't wait to give her a work out. I will probably not mess with the handle. I would hate to ruin the beautiful work on it.

Funny, I thought the first one I got was substantial but it looks like a younger sibling next to the Bonecutter. :D

A beautiful khukuri you've got there. Thanks for the pictures. The fun has begun now that you have it in hand. The fun level will increase after you use it while camping. Have a good time. And I tend to agree with you...it won't be the last.

you know it never ceases to amaze me
how something as nice as that can be
made out of the steel they use with the
tools and equipment they have.
