Im going out of town tommorrow for the whole weekend. Im going to loctite my Benchmade 42 with permatex blue loctite and let it sit in front if the window until monday. but this weekend im staying in a hotel right across from the mall and im going to buy some loctite. So what is the Easiest to apply and strongest blue loctite available in stores? im looking at 242 but dont know how much stronger it is than permatex. So does 242 make a difference than permatex? What loctite should i buy?
thanks.

Which bolts are you securing with loctite? Reason I ask is that blue is medium strength and is appropriate for future removal. If you want the bolt really secure, and less interested is removal, then get the red loctite. If you are seeking a medium strength then 242 is fine. 242 is comparable to Permatex medium.

im securing the pivots. and the rest of the screws. and i dont want red becuse i want to be able to take them off if needed.

Almost every "blue" threadlocker from any manufacturer is pretty much the same.
Be it Permatex, Loctite, Proseal/Pacer, 3M etc...
They have to fit in a guideline for product application to be consistent.

also what about loctite 243? hows that stuff working? it says oil resistent so that might be better for a bali right?
