The Sunday Picture Show... (1-13-2013)

Hello everyone, it's time again for the Sunday Picture Show... This Show is for everyone... So feel free to talk about and compliment each other about there new or old Buck knives... We all like to show are new or older knives that we just got or had for years... So everyone please share and post a picture of one of your Buck knives or a picture with lots of Buck knives... Fixed blades or folders... Post all the pictures you want, but save some for next Sundays Picture Show... Post a new picture or a old picture... If you only have one Buck knife or alot of Buck knives... Just take some new Picture of it or of them and just get creative and make Buck Proud.... Thanks, ItsTooEarly ...

Here's my pictures for the SPS... This Sunday I have a sweet 119 that I got in a collection a few months ago...

It needs to go over to Leroy's for a spa job... This one is different, it has a 3-line inverted stamping on the blade...

Did they all come this way in 1998...

Thanks for looking and enjoy the show... ITE

I'd like to share this pic of one of my 119s

Driggert, your welcome... I have a good time doing the SPS... :D

What a nice looking 112... Love the wood on that one... Thanks for sharing it, nice picutres to... ITE ...

Armand, Joe H. would say it is impossible. But it happens. The inverted stamp can't be because the tools doesn't allow an inverted stamp. We had one of these impossibilities once before at the BF.

My knife for the greatest show on earth is an old Woodsman I found some days ago.

Fresh from SMKWs. I guess a lot of folks would call this a true Sunday knife.

This particular example has decent glued shield, I just do not like the wide and deep cut-out. I know it would cost more on the factory line but I would like to see the shield in a cut-out that is tight to the shield edge. I wonder how the blue shields are holding up to pocket carry/ use effects. Maybe they have to be deep inset to keep rub-off and scratching from scaring them? If so, I would prefer something otherwise. Open edges look like dirt traps to me....But remember its only a 37$ knife. 300

Haebbie you have to be commended for coming up with such finds! I would think you would be at a disadvantage collecting Bucks in Europe.

Thanks ITE for another SPS!!

I have been out on another long walk and am taking my first day off since Christmas. Back to the trail tomorrow.

This was a picture I took last year along the Florida National Scenic Trail. I will be walking by there again within the month, but will have a different knife.

I've been carrying a Damascus Paradigm for the first three weeks of this hike. I have never used a Damascus blade before. I own a few, but just never got around to using one. I don't like it!! I'll choose another Buck later today to head back out to the trail with tomorrow.

My wildlife photo this week isn't a very good picture, but oh, what a thrill to come up on this Florida panther shortly after I got out of Big Cypress Swamp in southern Florida about 1 1/2 weeks ago!!

Thanks for keeping this show running every week ITE

As the start of the greatest show on earth was a 119, I would like to keep it going with an older picture of my 119, 120 and 102 collection. Seems like I only buy folders anymore.

Yes, CDNWIDE, it is hard to collect Buck knives in Europe. No chance for a flee market find or a good deal in a pawn shop. Only **** helps and egun, a German auctioneer. I hope to find good stuff at the BCCI anniversary meeting :) in Summer.
