Happy Sunday everyone. Armand is still in California finishing up some things so I am getting the show started for him. Hopefully he will be back with us for next weeks show.

Here is a David Yellowhorse Buck 110 I picked up this last week. I just couldn't turn it down at the price they had it at.

Thank you, Ged, to keep the Greatest Show on Earth going.

David Yellowhorse 110, I don't own one. But the smaller brother - thanks for watching.

You gents have some fine, fine Buck 110 Folding Hunters! I took this trio shot of my oldest Bucks (I got the 301 and 105 both new in the early-mid 1970's) to thank WolfeKnives in the Traditional Forum for sending me this very cool Buck patch this past week. Thanks again Wolfe! OH

Elk handled 503 Prince c.2003 with Chuck Buck's signature.
This one has unusually good dark bark for Elk.

Not sure how many of you have ever attempted to acquire serialized knives with your club number on them, but take my word for the fact that it is no simple task. My guess would be that it is even more difficult today than it was 20 or 25 years ago. None the less in the early club days with much help from both Chuck and Vern I was able to put this set of Cuthairs together with my club number. They were not produced as a set or at the same time and it was done over a number of years. It took some wheeling and dealing, some trading, pleading and begging and even a call or two from Chuck to distributors in California and elsewhere, but we got it done. I have often wondered if anyone else , anywhere managed to get a full set with matching numbers, let alone their club number. WHAT A PRIZE.

I've shown this one before. A Brian Yellowhorse 110. The handles are Ironwood, Turquoise, and Red Spiny Oyster. The brass bolsters are enhanced with a deeply engraved Elk profile. A SMKW exclusive numbering 100.

All I can say is WOW. As A Vanguard collector I love the 108 Cuthair series. There were six total, I've only managed to acquire the first and you have 4, that is pretty impressive. Although made in reasonably large numbers except the last 2, they seem to be pretty much unobtanium on a non lottery budget.

Something different today for me.

Great show so far everyone. Thank you to all for posting.

DeSotoSky (Roger) Your 503 does have fantastic dark elk scales. I purchased a couple of those as well but I was not so lucky. Mine are much lighter but still great looking knives in my opinion,

Great show so far everyone. Glad to see all he Yellowhorse knives, makes me envious. I hope to be ale to post some photos of my additions later today. Great start to the Greatest Show On Earth.

Thanks for starting another Greatest Show. I was taking a picture for another thread and thought I would post it here also. The bottom 120 had a broken off tip and I reshaped it.

In case the question came up as far as which is bigger the 120 or the 651, here is the answer.

I've always been in awe of the masterful inlay work. A treat for the eyes. David Yellowhorse and his fellow practitioners walk the earth like giants IMHO.

I was lucky enough to p/u two of these terrific boning knives at the BCCI 25th. I'm coveting the B&C version going quickly on web special right now. Look like steak knives to my sore eyes. Maybe I'm just hungry.

"When you were young you were little but you didn't know. You were scared so you smiled so it didn't show." Some of you might recognize this verbiage from Parenthood's theme song. Regardless, I saw this old photo with different eyes after netflixing all seasons of Parenthood. Perhaps its just me but the elder seems to be explaining just how screwed the youngster really is (I am kidding, of course, lighten up, it is all good):
