The Sunday Picture Show... (1-27-2013)

Hello everyone, it's time again for the Sunday Picture Show... This Show is for everyone... So feel free to talk about and compliment each other about there new or old Buck knives... We all like to show are new or older knives that we just got or had for years... So everyone please share and post a picture of one of your Buck knives or a picture with lots of Buck knives... Fixed blades or folders... Post all the pictures you want, but save some for next Sundays Picture Show... Post a new picture or a old picture... If you only have one Buck knife or alot of Buck knives... Just take some new Picture of it or of them and just get creative and make Buck Proud.... Thanks, ItsTooEarly ...

Here's my pictures for the SPS... This Sunday I have a really COOL 422 Bucklite... When I first got it, I thought it was really dirty...
It look like it had some grease or oil on the handles, so I was trying to scrub the oil off... I was scrubbing it and rubbing it really hard
trying to clean it up with some liquid soap and it wasn't coming off... So I took it out side in the light to see why it wasn't coming off...
Well, it turn out to be a white marble color handle 422 Bucklite... Now this one is really different... I have never seen one like this before...
This Bucklite is going to look nice in my Collection...

Thanks for looking and enjoy the show... ITE

Great 422 you found, Armand. This one I would put into my collection too :)

I found a small one some days ago. And will show it at your great Picure Show.
I think you'll like it. Thank you!

Marbleous, as familiar as you are with Bucklites I bet that was cool, finding one you didn't know existed.
I see it has the Buck custom stamp vs 422 and a mirror polish.

Here's two old faithfull Bucks. They are both 2 dot knives. The 110 just came back from the Spa to repair a wobble. They really made the knife like new.

Here's a 110 custom D/A auto done by Wirtz. It has the best snap and lock up of any 110 auto I've owned.

A custom stamped damascus grooved 110 with 108 on reverse tang.
Notice the re work on the bolsters ...? The box says catalog 1202 then handwritten 108

You gents have some very nice Buck's on display for this weeks show! My latest pickup is this Buck 503 Prince; been working on acquiring the 500 series knives with the Olde English block style tang stamp. Prior to buying this 503 I thought all the 500 series with Olde English tang stamps also had Micarta handles - but evidently not - this one has wood handles. For my "great outdoors" pictures I offer my buddy Sid getting up the decoys on 1/11/13 and me holding my morning bag on 1/12/13 - both shots near Little Dixie AR. OH

Thanks, I want to see how high the rivet is to the top edge of the knife. You out bid me by a few $$ on that one....lol. There have been a few of the red micarta scaled 110's on the auction site of late, this was the first 112 scaled like this. Very nice snag!

Nice Knives Heath, I would like to add the following for all BCCI members

The Buck Collectors Club Custom Shop is proud to announce a very special offering to commemorate our 25th year celebration. This set of knives replicate the history of Buck Knives during the 1940’s-1960’s that could be ordered by mail thru magazine ads. Each knife is hand crafted and customized using a current Buck model. Beginning in 1947 Buck offered Black, Blue, Green, & Red Lucite with one white stripe. In the 1950’s – 1960’s Buck offered Lignum Vitae Wood, Gaboon Ebony Wood, and Elk handled knives. These knives had either Aluminum or Brass trim with Leather Spacers. I have recreated these knives so that you and your family can enjoy this rich history for many years to come. All knives will be etched BCCI 25 YRS Est. 1988 on the opposite side of the Buck Stamp.

For more information contact Heath Stone at stoneknifeworks.com

This is not a sales advertisement, only information on an upcoming BCCI offering.

I really enjoyed the red micarta 112.. I've heard there were 5 or 6 different colors over the years.Got to look for one myself now! Thank you for the pic..

Really extraordinary SPS today, I'll follow Dave's lead with something old & new: I've been hitting the local shops hard lately, and everyone one, except me, is wanting "Glock mags, 5.56 & 7.62 ammo, black rifles".
Picked up a Marlin 60 & a Savage 64. You can't have too many .22's, just like you can't have too many Bucks. The Buck is a 110(later re-numbered to 103) that just arrived from Heath, with an uncracked Melamine handle.
