Thank you ITE and all who post in the SPS. Look forward to it every week.

Here are two 105s that I bought/rescued from a pawn shop. I went to look(over an hour's drive) because one's a three line, inverted and I lacked one in my accumulation. The pictures that the shop put on Craigslist were not good and didn't show the engraved name:eek: on both. One's shown in the second picture

I was really disappointed and said so to the shop owner who quickly said that I could have them for half the price. I debated awhile and decided that I needed the inverted one so bought both. I thought I could try my hand at scrubbing the other and if it didn't turn out OK I'd send them to LeRoy and have him work them over.

I think it turned out all right, I can still see where the engraving tool made some deeper marks...bottom picture. I can live with that and I'll try the inverted this week. Preston

Like your SPS knife Armand. I remember back when you got that one. :)

Here's my contribution for this Sunday.
It's one of my favorite oddball Buck 110s out of my collection.

Here is a customized 551 King Charles II with rosewood, denim lapis, lapis, turquoise and a thin slice of what I think is dark mother of pearl. I don't understand doing such good work and then stamping the blade. If I can figure out a good way to deal with it I will. Otherwise I'll send it off to someone who knows what they are doing.

Thanks for kicking this off once again ITE!

Great variety of great knives once again!

This is probably the best 101 Buck didn’t make.
Natural canvas Micarta. I started with 5/16” thick slabs and tapered them down to the bolsters which are thinner.
I took advantage of the lanyard hole already cut in the blade. Why Buck doesn’t put this hole to use is a mystery...
I haven’t decided whether I like the finish on the Micarta or not. It’s sanded to 600 and waxed. I may go back and polish it further.

I’m working on it’s brother as I find time. Will have black canvas with nickel bolsters that I have to make myself.
