Hello everybody. I hope everybody had a wonderful Christmas and I hope everyone had a safe New Year's Eve. I hope this year brings everybody good health and a few new buck knives along the way.

I also want to say goodbye to all my friends that I have made here on the blade forum. For this will be the last SPS / Sunday Picture Show / Greatest Show on Earth... For me that is. Again I want to thank everybody that's posted pictures and help make everybody feel that their knives are as good as everyone else's. I don't have the best knives but I do have a few nice knives. They didn't come easy but with help from a lot of friends I met here on the SPS. You guys are all awesome heroes in my eyes. Willing to share your knowledge and pictures of your favorite knives or users or beaters. It didn't really matter old pictures new pictures we enjoy them all and still can whoever would like to take over the Sunday Picture Show. Please email me at lastvw@yahoo.com... You might be able to get a few of our good buck knife people out there to Join in, that hang in the shadows to share a few knives. You know who you are. I know we would all love to see your knives. I will check in once in awhile if this is still going on and share a knife or two. After doing this for about 10 years now, it's just time I think I say goodbye to my friends. You guys have made this what it is. Thanks to James Gedlicks for helping me when I was in the hospital. Oregon, Clinton Meier, Rodger, Harold Logan it's your fault I'm leaving because he wouldn't share any pictures. LOL. Just kidding. I told him I was going to blame him. jb4570, Kevin Fritz, Joe Hauser who helped us all, Plummer Dave who I miss, Craig VoVillia my long lost son, Steelheadbully, Greg P MT-Pokt, 300, Gary, Craig, Michael, Mark Stumps, HHH Kingdom, 110 Dave, Old Hunter, Chilebrown, st8yd, DDDWho, kossetx, DOGPOUND77, jbmonkey, Makael, mbkr, tiguy7, PastorDavid, bucklife301 and my good German friend Herbert (Haebbie) ("Auf Wiedersehen!".) I am leaving lots of you guys out, not on purpose. But I will think of all you guys often. I will check in when I can.

"Until the next time we meet!" Stay healthy wear your mask. I'll miss you all...

Oh man...I will miss this part of the forum and hope someone will step in. I have not shared any pictures since I moved in September and now wish I had (knives still in packing boxes). Thanks Armand for the the greatest show on earth. :)

Armand, really have enjoyed the SPS under your founding and stewardship, certainly hope it continues on. I also hope you are okay and won't really be GONE from the Buck Forum - you contribute a lot of knowledge - collectively we all know a piece or a lot and it makes being here a fun place to enjoy a fun hobby. Special day so I'll post the longest owned Buck Knife I own - Buck 301, Christmas gift from my Grandma in Christmas 1972 (senior year in HS) and my Buck 105 Pathfinder, first Buck Knife I bought for myself - PX at Aberdeen Proving Ground in the Fall of 1976. Both have served me well for many years. OH

Thanks for the SPS and your dedication for so many good years. I didn’t contribute much but enjoyed looking at all the nice knives everyone displayed and reading about them. I hope you’re doing well and please do come back to see us!

sorry to see this will be the last Sunday Picture Show with you hosting Armand. everything good must come to an end though, I guess.

normally i do what's in my pocket and on my belt for the show, but for this last show I'm going with a tried and true favorite of mine. the Walmart special run mesa 632. just a regular knife, for regular folks....... but a great one.

lastly thank you all for the pics evey Sunday. BIG THANKS to ITE for his dedication for all these years hosting this Show for us all every Sunday. you will be missed, Sir.

My very first Buck knife for Armand’s last picture show.

Is it a sad day? No. We had the greatest show on earth for roundabout 10 years. That was a fun time and except the first time I never let one picture show go.

Yes, I will miss the show. But the more I’m thankful that Armband kept the show running the whole time. The short gap doesn’t count. It was always a pleasure to find a place where I could show parts of my modest Buck knife collection.

Armand, I’m looking forward meeting you at the next BCCI anniversary Meetings. You’ll get a decoration for your merits there.
Accept my thanks for all the afford you had.

Haebbie

View attachment 1484709 Armand, so sad to see you go, but I think your "retirement" is well deserved. Thank you for your efforts and contributions over a decade.
I spotted a new "Buck nut" elsewhere on the Forum. His name is Michael Lowe, and his posting is titled "NEW Buck 110 History Webpage". I quickly grabbed my oldest 110 to determine its Version and Variation.
I bought this knife years ago at the National Coon Dog Trial in Kenton, Ohio. I was going to knock the 440-C blade out of it and and install the blade in a Titanium handle. The project is still on the back burner, but there are more premium blades available now.
Anyway, the knife is a Version 4, Variation 1. Here are the pix.View attachment 1484708

Thank you Armand for your dedication over the last 10 years and hopefully others will keep this going. I don't post on here nearly enough but do enjoy seeing it every week. My first post on the Sunday Picture Show was in April 2012 and it was of a Buck Display filled with 2 liners (first picture). Since then I got married and moved so my entire house is no longer a "Man Cave", that display with knives is now located in the garage with several other displays and numerous totes of knives. I do however have this display in the new house (second picture) and, with luck, after the garage is remodeled all of my knives will be displayed or at least easier to locate for future pictures.
