The Sunday Picture Show... (10-26-2014)

Hello everyone, it's time again for the Sunday Picture Show... This Show is for everyone... So feel free to talk about and compliment each other about there new or old Buck knives... We all like to show are new or older knives that we just got or had for years... So everyone please share and post a picture of one of your Buck knives or a picture with lots of Buck knives... Fixed blades or folders... Post all the pictures you want, but save some for next Sundays Picture Show... Post a new picture or a old picture... If you only have one Buck knife or alot of Buck knives... Just take some new Picture of it or of them and just get creative and make Buck Proud... Thanks, ItsTooEarly ...

Here's my pictures for the SPS... This Sunday I have a Sweet 426 Harley Davidson
Bucklite that I got from my good friend Harold (I4Bucks) here on the forum... He also
gave me some old mini license plates that I collect... and a 119 swivel sheath and
another Buck knife that I will share later... It's good to have friends... :)
Thanks again Harold for everything... Armand...

Thanks for looking and enjoy the show...

426 from Harold and the old Disneyland tickets are mine... Do you remember them...

Any luck this year... ITE ...:thumbup::thumbup:

Armand, wow, I haven't seen disney ticket books since I was a kid!! Wow....

And.... um... the roadkill dinner.... EWwwwwww

Tony, sweet Bucks! Both of em! ;)

Yep, I would rather have this for dinner!!!!

WOW! Disneyland tickets. I had some just like those. I used to live right in back of the Disneyland hotel. We would walk to the hotel on date night, (Saturday night,) spend about $10.00 for tickets, ride the monorail in and dance until the fireworks. Then ride the monorail back to the hotel and walk home. What a treat!

Armand, thanks for another SPS. I really enjoyed the memories you caused this time. Your SPS is a pleasure to look at and to look forward to each and every Sunday.

Two more pictures for Armand's greatest show in earth.
Thank you!

Heres the second Berlin Wall 110 I found in Germany for a
very special friend in the United States ...

God bless America!

Haebbie

And.... um... the roadkill dinner.... EWwwwwww

I agree Chris!!
Although…one of the best hogs I ever had was a recent (still warm) roadkill along a road in south Florida. I was driving home at night after spending a week fishing in the Keys and saw two hogs laying on the side of the road. I stopped and one was still plenty warm, so I got the 200 pounder in my boat and butchered it when I got home. That was in the 1970's. It was excellent!! :)

Thanks for another SPS Armand!!:thumbup::thumbup:

Tony…..those are two nice Bucks!!:thumbup::thumbup:

Herbert….always enjoy your Buck knives and you photos!! :)

I will start my first post this week with a Buck 110 that I can't believe I bought a while back. I only bring it out this time of year.
I will post it now since it will be Halloween before the next SPS.
This is my Halloween/Thanksgiving knife. There are what looks like two ghostly figures on the mark side of the handle and the pile side is for Thanksgiving. :)

This side gets displayed for Thanksgiving. Those are pumpkins engraved in the bolsters.

You can see the ghost's eyes best in the next three photos….

Here's one of the pumpkins;

It is also a great time of year for the garden here in Florida!!
I took these next two photos this morning…..

I got lucky this week!!

I posted this next picture of my two 1973 burgundy 124's on last week's SPS.

I took a chance on this one early in the week.
The seller posted it as "Buy It Now", but had bad photos that didn't show the knife well.
I thought I could see a little burgundy in one of the photos and took that chance.
I was extremely happy when it arrived and I saw it was a burgundy 124!! :)

I can't wait for 2014 to be over so I can stop buying 50th Anniversary 110s!! :)

It was a good week for my 50th Anniversary collection though!!

I received two engraved 50th Anniversary 110's, and Ichthus 110 with an early 50th Anniversary blade, a Masonic 110 50th Anniversary knife and two 50th Anniversary anvils.:thumbup::thumbup:

My last post for today's SPS….I promise!! :)
(I needed my wildlife photo)

The stiddy sitting on my two Buck anvils has become one of my favorite tools for re-handling the Buck knives I've done.:thumbup:
It makes lots of the processes much easier to work on.

For this week's wildlife photo….I came across this porcupine on one of my backpacking trips.

Mark, I really like the looks of those engraved 50ths. What;s your opinion on them?

Thanks to a few friends close to the Buck factory, I now have a titanium bolstered 110 with Mammoth and SS Damascus;

Here's another recent one. It's anodized titanium with removable scales:

Great pictures everyone. Mark I was eyeballing that 124 earlier this week and almost beat you to it but decided I need to save up for a couple special knives I am trying to make a deal on. That was a great deal and hard to pass up.

For this week I have a Buck Akonua 402 with mirror polished blade, white mother of pearl handle scales, and brass guard out of the old Buck custom shop. It comes with a real nice custom sheath in the original brown custom shop box.

And this morning while trying to decide what to post this week and thinking I have no wildlife pictures to share I noticed 5 deer (all does) just behind my place so I sneaked out and took a few pictures of them. It was still a touch dark outside so the shutter stayed open quite awhile on the camera so the pictures came out a bit blurry. We see alot of does and fawns out around my place with the occasional small buck but very rare to see any large bucks around my place. Need to go a few miles up in the neighboring hills to find them.

Looking good boys!

These are my favorite Bucks in my collection

The Variation 2 is courtesy of Mark(Stumps) which was acquired in a trade. Leroy did the Resto on it.

The fiber spacer 110 is from The Vern Taylor estate. Note the steel rocker pin change. Not original condition but still cool

The one liner 103 has original box and papers.

I posted this earlier in the week but here is a 317 elk stag by Leroy. Plus my first wildlife pic. Mark those SMKW 50s with the scroll work looks better in your pics than on their website. I might have to reconsider a purchase.

Here's a couple of back yard Blacks for your amusement. The Sow scaled the fence first and the cubs seemed lost. At least the one appeared to be reading the 'Danger open Pit' sign :)
